TGIF was born in December of 2002, the brain child of our "always thinkin'“ original baritone, Tracy. In May of 2007, we won the coveted Quartet Championship for our region. Two weeks after the win, our beloved Tracy and her husband Paul took up residence in Honolulu, Hawaii. Our regional win qualified us to compete in Calgary, Canada a few short months later. Fortunately we found the perfect baritone to complete our foursome in Vicki . Vicki graciously accepted the challenge of learning our repertoire and competed with us on the International stage in Calgary.
TGIF once again became Quartet Regional Champions in the spring of 2011. This win qualifies us to compete in Houston, Texas in October 2011. As it turns out our fabulous lead, Marilynn, will not be able to join us for the International competition. Once again we found ourselves trying to fill some "awfully big shoes". We are happy to report that we were fortunate to find a replacement lead that allows us to represent our region. Shannon is stepping into our quartet with such ease we are amazed weekly at the transformation happening right before our eyes and ears.
We are all proud members of the award winning Greater Cleveland Chorus, and enjoy performing when given the opportunity. Truth be told, we just plain enjoy each others company and the opportunity to share in each others lives.
